Home Business Master Plan

It wasn’t long ago that I was in a meeting with someone when they were telling me all about the differences they had with a certain individual we both knew. After a while I ended up stopping the individual (much to my embarrassment for them) and said that I no longer wanted to hear what they were saying.

What’s my point here today?

Well, I can’t vouch for the other countries around this small globe of ours but I can certainly speak for the country I live in Australia. For a long time now, we are a nation that has adopted the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ and unfortunately it has been rather accepted as our normal way of life. It doesn’t take long for someone to get a bucket full of slander thrown at them once they reach a certain level of success only obtained by the minority, just take a read throughout the print media and you will know what I’m talking about.
Just as my friend was expressing His concerns to me, I could not help but extinguish the petty remarks, they were just coming from a heart of jealousy and misfortune.

So what can I do about it? Understandably probably not much but today I’ve decided to make a small difference. Luckily the network marketing industry is one that generally builds up and encourages one another but can be perceived as abnormal to the newbie to the field. In my response to what I believe is a ‘tearing down and destroying’ attitude known by many Aussie’s I would like to start the day with a ‘building up and recognition’ of a few people that have made a great deal of difference to me and my online endeavors.

Perry Belcher – Thanks mate for all of the effort you have put into the online world. My very first purchase online was your ‘get money from google’ course for a measly $1. Probably the best $1 investment I will ever make. Sad to hear you have just left the industry but good luck with your future ventures.

Jeff Johnson – This guy just never stops! If there’s every been a guy that I believe is truly dedicated to seeing others succeed I would say he’d have to take a big piece of that cake.

Tim and Anthony Buchalka – A couple of my favorite South Australians. You guys have offered nothing but value, oh and some more! Keep up the good work and keep me proud of the Australian ‘Marketing Assassins’.

Ed Dale – Whenever I read one of your articles or view a video I think of someone who is just being himself and offering all that he can give. You’re an internet rock-star in my world.

Mike Dillard – Network marketing will never be the same thanks to you. It’s almost like network marketing has it’s own president. Thanks for all you’ve done and continue to do.

It doesn’t have to be the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ way, how about we start bucking the trend and start paying some respect forward. It made me feel good just writing this post!

I recently came across the American Observer site and I have to say that I was a little shocked to say the least. You see, there are plenty of people out there who unfortunately live life with their head in the sand thinking everything is going to be alright.

I guess that’s where the famous Aussie saying “she’ll be right mate” came from. (Yes I’m a proud Aussie!)

Well If you click on the following image and take a look at the unemployment rates you’ll see that there’s a staggering growth rate to date in the US, and regardless of which continent, country, state, suburb you live in, they’re all headed in the same direction.

Now after watching the short clip you’ll feel or see something. Fear or opportunity.

If you feel fear then you had better do something about it. Pull your head out of the sand and start making some decisions. No I’m not talking about putting in a couple of extra hours a week at work so your boss will notice you if and when they have to lay off a number of staff, or even having a garage sale to make a few extra dollars, I’m talking about creating a future that will have you getting paid day in day out especially when the country is feeling the financial squeeze.

Start building a business around yourself. That’s right, not for your boss and their empire. Your primary goal should be to build something that will build you financial freedom regardless of the economic situation.

So why do people market an MLM business opportunity to their family and friends if these people don’t desire to start their own home business? It’s because they don’t know any better, you can’t blame them as it’s only what they were told to do.

So what should I be doing then? Good question.

Marketing to a targeted audience.

But how do I do this? Another good question.
